Winners of 2025 Dzhelepov Prize announced
By the decision of the JINR Scientific Council, the 2025 Dzhelepov Prize was awarded to Boris Nikolaevich Gikal, JINR chief engineer, and Maksim Vladimirovich Zdorovets, director of the Science and Innovation Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy, Academician of the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences.
The Prize was awarded for a significant contribution to the creation of the DC-60 accelerator complex and development of the research centre based on it at the Astana Branch of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Dzhelepov Prize is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of experimental and theoretical research aimed to solve applied problems using nuclear physics methods. The prize has been awarded at JINR since 2010.
