P. G. Evtoukhovitch "Development and production process of a pilot module for the COMET Phase II straw tracker"
Phase-I includes the use of two types of detectors – multilayer cylindrical drift chamber with two rings of trigger counters for the registration of $\mu \to e$ conversion and straw-tracker and electromagnetic calorimeter for measuring beam composition and background. Phase II involves the use of only a straw tracker and an electromagnetic calorimeter. Issues related to the development and production of a pilot module for the Phase II straw tracker, a ROESTI readout electronics board, the structure for module assembly, a bench for the assembly and selective testing of straw tubes are being considered.
