Congratulations to the staff members of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems on obtaining a state registration for computer program!

Staff members of the Department of New Accelerators of the JINR Laboratory of Nuclear Problems, together with a colleague from the JINR Laboratory of Information Technologies, became the authors of the state registration for computer program "CORD (Closed ORbit Dynamics) code for cyclotron electromagnetic field map analysis on closed equilibrium orbits".

Abstract:

The programme is intended for the calculation of electromagnetic field map of the cyclotron. It defines mean magnetic field, flutter, lowest harmonics and also searches for closed equilibrium orbits. The programme can be used to calculate betatron frequencies, particle rotation frequencies, and mean field deviation from isochronism. The functional opportunities of the programme: CORD calculates distribution of the accelerating voltage along the redius using the electromagnetic field map of the accelerating system, analyses phase movement of synchronous particles using the data both magnetic and accelerating fields. Type of computer: Intel-based PC, AMD, x32, x64. ОС: Windows 10.
