Congratulations to Yuri Davydov on successful defense of doctorate dissertation!
Yuri Davydov defended his dissertation for the degree of doctor of science (physics and mathematics) in specialty 1.3.2 — instruments and methods of experimental physics.
The aim of the dissertation work was to develop a new technique for manufacturing planar wire chambers and to create, based on them, a setup for the complete reconstruction of two-dimensional positron spectra as a function of their momenta and emission angles. This setup is intended for the simultaneous determination of several Michel parameters in positive muon decays with the highest possible sensitivity.
