Sergey Shvidky Was Granted the Medal “Fyodor Dostoyevsky. 200th Anniversary”
Celebrating the World Poetry Day on 20 March 2022, a ceremony was held at the Large Conference Hall of the Government of Moscow where medals “Fyodor Dostoyevsky. 200th Anniversary” were awarded. According to the decision of the General Committee of the Union of Russian Writers, our colleague Sergey Vasilevich Shvidky was granted this award.
The Dostoyevsky Medal was established in 2021 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the great Russian writer’s birthday. It is awarded to nominees for the National Literature Prize “Poet of the Year”, and also to individuals who contributed a lot to developing the modern Russian Literature.
