Interview with Anton Dolzhikov and Ivan Gorodnov
Intriguing scientific tasks, exceptional devices and participation in international projects – young researchers from the DLNP Sector of Low Temperatures, Anton Dolzhikov and Ivan Gorodnov, are talking about their work at the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems and life in Dubna.
Young scientists of the Sector elaborate and manufacture dilution cryostats, crucial components of polarized accelerator targets. A complicated year, marked by the COVID pandemic, did not impede their fruitful work. The sector team was involved in the beam run at the ELSA accelerator of the University of Bonn, and at present it contributes to development of a polarimeter for MESA, a new superconducting accelerator of polarized electrons at the University of Mainz.
