Baikal Summer School. Day 2

Today, the lectures "Introduction to Particle Physics" by Dmitry Naumov (JINR) and "Origin of neutrino mass and mixing" by Zhi-zhong Xing (IHEP, China) continued. The discussion of the prospects of neutrino physics with Liangjian Wen (IHEP, China) and dark matter with Junting Huang (SJTU, China) began.

In the evening the students presented their reports:

  • Sofija Murzakova (ISU) “Sensitivity to supernova neutrino signal in Baikal-GVD”
  • Sofia Frank-Kamenetskaya (NRNU MEPHI) “Pair gravitino production at the LHC”
  • Vladimir Sverkunov (ISU) “Development of a methodology for cloud analysis based on sky images from a wide-angle camera to search for the TAIGA-100 installation site”
  • Alexey Kudashov (MSU) “Axion-Electron Coupling Constraints from TRGB Luminosities: Assessing Theoretical Uncertainties”
  • Aleksandra Usoltseva (Kazan Federal University, Institute of Physics) “Simulation of potential astrophysical neutrino sources in NTSim”
  • Georgy Chachava (MIPT) “Searching for heavy neutrinos in
  • $e^{+}$$e^{-}$ $W^{+}$$W^{-}$: it is all about unitarity”
