Nikolai Atanov "Hybrid Modules for the ATLAS HGTD Detector: Configuration and Calibration. Radiation Hardness of Electronic Components for High-Luminosity Collider Experiments

The semiconductor pixel hybrid modules of the High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) will be used in the ATLAS experiment during high-luminosity data-taking periods (Run 4 and later), reaching luminosities up to ${7,5} \times{10}^{34} {см}^{−2}{с}^{−1}$.

The seminar will provide an overview of the detector and its modules, and will address configuration and calibration issues that arise during the development of the data-acquisition (DAQ) online software for the detector. Integration of the HGTD readout into the existing ATLAS TDAQ infrastructure will also be discussed.

In addition, the seminar will cover methods for studying radiation damage in sensors and ASICs, as well as approaches to designing radiation-hard electronics that can be applied to future experiments at other accelerators, such as CEPC.
