Video of the Online Seminar on April 7, 2020 by Nikita Balashov “JINR Computing Infrastructure for the NOvA Experiment”

NOvA and DUNE are large-scale neutrino experiments requiring immense computational power to process the obtained data. To expand the computational capabilities of NOvA and to support the DUNE experiment, a computing infrastructure was created at LIT. Now, it is being developed within Topic 1099, “The Study of Neutrino Oscillations”.

The report overviewed the current computing infrastructure, as well as the plans for its further advancement, history of establishing and functioning of the NOvA Remote Operation Center in Dubna (ROC-Dubna), which allows experiment participants to work shifts straight from JINR to control the detector operation and to monitor the neutrino beam.
