Along the Meridian: from the White Sea to Southern Africa
Tomorrow, on 15 November 2021, at 16:00, the first international JINR webinar “Along the Meridian: from the White Sea to Southern Africa” will be held for several JINR Information Centres and the institutions which plan to open such centres. Dmitry Naumov, Head of the JINR Neutrino Programme, DLNP Deputy Director, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, will give a talk “The Universe through the Baikal Neutrino Telescope”.
This international webinar is the first in the series of popular science online events aimed at providing opportunities for communication between the existing JINR Information Centres and those being established right now (Vladikavkaz, Sofia, Cairo, Capetown, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Vladivostok and others) and their partners. It allows sharing information about JINR scientific projects and experiments with the widest audience of the Member States and other places in the world where the interest in our Institute already exists or is just being formed.
