Congratulations to Konstantin Shipulin on Receiving a Certificate of State Registration of a Software Program!
The program complex is designed for determining quantitative and qualitative discrepancies between calculated and experimentally measured dose distributions. To measure dose distributions, a film detector is used, as a rule Gafchromic class EBT-x (where x is the series of film detectors). Then the data are digitized with a flatbed scanner using the light transmission method.
The program complex has different functions of processing images from the film detector and calculated data. Functional options are loading of the TIFF image files and conversion of data of three colour channels to real matrices; readout of values of optical density of an image matrix in the chosen area; calculation of coefficients of a polynomial function (with powers from 1 to N-1 where N is the number of points) with the least-squares method using calibration films; reconstruction of dose values according to film darkening; calculation of isodose curves and their display on the computer screen; dose distribution profiling in two projections (horizontal, vertical); graphic comparison of measured and calculated dose distributions; calculation of the conformity index between two dose distribution matrices.
