Uzbekistan
As one of the Soviet republics, Uzbekistan became part of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on the day the organization was created, 26 March 1956. The Republic of Uzbekistan joined JINR as a full Member State in June 1992. Joint investigations of Uzbek and JINR scientists encompass a wide range of objectives in the field of theoretical and experimental physics. Nowadays scientific cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan is expanding. Thus researchers from Uzbekistan participate in upgrading the mass separator of the DLNP Department of Nuclear Spectroscopy and Radiochemistry and in further research on it. At the end of January 2020 DLNP JINR researchers M. V. Lyablin and A. M. Artikov visited Tashkent at the invitation of B. S. Yuldashev, the president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to present the precision laser inclinometer (PLI).
