Joint Institute for Nuclear Research

Belarus

As one of the Soviet republics, Belarus became part of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on the day the organization was created, 26 March 1956. Since 1991, Belarus has been a JINR Member State as a sovereign republic. Several agreements about scientific and technological cooperation are in force between JINR and Belarus.

At the end of October 2023 researchers of the JINR Laboratory of Nuclear Problems installed a compact precision laser inclinometer in the Naroch Geophysical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
