The Spin Physics Detector (SPD) will be installed in the second interaction point of the Nuclotron-based Ion Collider fAcility (NICA) at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, which will provide polarized proton-proton (deuteron-deuteron) collisions with the energy up to √s=27 GeV (√(s_NN )=13 GeV) and have luminosity up to 10³² cm⁻²s⁻¹.
