Zinatulina D.R.: Study of muon capture by the gamma-spectroscopy methods. The current status and prospects.
Preview of the seminar on high-energy physics and nuclear structure, 19.11.2018. Energy and time spectra of γ-radiation from the muon capture on Se, Cd, Kr, Sm, and Ti isotopes are measured using HPGe detectors.
The results on the total and partial muon rates in the investigated nuclei and the isotope yields from the reaction (μ−,νXn) are reported. These results are needed for calculating nuclear matrix elements of the 2βdecay. The status and perspectives of the muon capture studies are also considered.
