Virtual prototyping is a modern design method based on CAD technologies. Virtual prototyping involves working with a prototype of the entire accelerator, from the early stages of development to manufacture. An integrated platform created in MATLAB encapsulates the calculations of individual cyclotron systems (in CST Studio) and provides a mechanism for their interaction, which contributes to the creation of an optimal cyclotron.


The report presents the results of simulation of the compact superconducting isochronous cyclotron SC200 designed for Hefei (China) and MSC230 dedicated for proton therapy at JINT using the FLASH method.
